Welcome to Day 3 of the free 7 day yoga course for all levels. In this yoga class, we will be working on our hip and hamstring flexibility. I will be taking you through each posture step by step and giving modifications where needed.

This hip and hamstring yoga flow is great for anyone who does a lot of running or walking and spends a lot of time sitting at a desk. Our hamstrings can get tight when we sit too much or when we overtrain the quadriceps. When this happens, the hamstrings begin to pull down on the sit bones, making the pelvis and hips tight. This can flatten the natural curvature in the lower back. This yoga class is designed to release stiffness and soreness in the body. We will gently stretch out the hamstrings, calves, and hips to increase flexibility and mobility.

You will not be needing any props for this class, but if you prefer to use a block, pillow or a book, then please feel free to use it if you need.

With that said, grab your mat and some water, and let’s begin our flow.
